5 Questions To Ask Yourself When Pursuing Your Dreams

What's your dream? Want to give your vision a jumpstart? Write down your goals and use these questions to speed up the delivery of your dream.

1. What's your highest priority in this lifetime?

What's most important for you to experience, explore or embrace this time around?

Journal your answers.

What brings you true joy in your life? What is something you do that you get lost in (a hobby, a project, etc.)?What activities did you enjoy as a child? Where is your heart called to be?

When your dreams become goals, they are aligned with your soul, and then synchronicity kicks in to guide you to your higher purpose/ priority in this life. Trust that you know your highest calling, and if not the specifics, you know which path to follow to reach it…

Until you answer the question, “What’s your highest priority in this lifetime?” your life goals will be off purpose. Unaligned with your inner passion, your intentions will lack the power to attract the people and situations necessary for them to become a reality.

Dunrobin Castle & Gardens is located in Sutherland, Scotland.

I personally have been dreaming about, for more than half my life, taking a trip to Scotland (read related posts), but when I started following the Centrella Method™ and creating a Futureboard™, I realized this dream of mine was starting to fall into place. Earlier this year I went from having no travel plans to my dream trip to Scotland, a completely unexpected opportunity arose and I must tell you it was one of the best trips of my life! Add in that I traveled with my daughter, and together we explored our heritage, castles, fairy pools, and the list goes on and on with one spectacular thing after another!

2. Is this your dream or someone else's?

Are your life goals your own choice or what others think you should strive for? So often, these ideas intermingle, and we forget what we truly want - what we know we carry in our inner hearts. Do you want to look back on your life one day, will you wish you had followed your passion? Even sadder, Will you regret having "played it safe?"

Sometimes you just need to walk your own path……..

We all have our own beliefs on whether we only get one time around at this life or many, but that aside, Did you live Your Life? No matter your age, there is plenty of time for you to fulfill a dream in between the other necessary tasks of your life.

Is it selfish to go after your own dream? What joy can you give to others if you haven't given it to yourself first? Sometimes by following your dreams, you show your loved ones it can be done and inspire them to take action.

3. Are you settling for less than?

Are you resigned to accepting less than your full share of love, health, and success this lifetime? Have you compromised and sacrificed your dream?

Anything short of living your true passions will never make you happy.

Even four-hour plane delays, sleep deprivation, and hunger could not hold back our happiness for our arrival in Edinburgh, Scotland.

4. What will you feel like when you reach your dream?

Personal passion fuels a vision. Dive into the thrill and exhilaration of the feeling of living your dream.

The Hawaiian Kahuna says, "Where your creative attention flows, so flows your life."

5. What steps can you take today toward your dream?

Don't defer your dream. Start taking action now!

Set up supports and systems around you to instantly translate your intentions into action. Jump on every opportunity that is in line with your purpose and vision.

Are there smaller projects that lead to your larger dream?

If the dream is to run a marathon, agree to train for a local fun-run first, then find a way to measure your progress towards the bigger goal. Track those little wins-by writing in a journal or telling a friend about this dream so they can support or join you also.

Me, well, I learned the power of not only writing my dreams but having an amazing visual that gives me the feeling of my dreams, and by doing the emotional and mental work that supported my belief this would happen - I wasn’t sure how but I had Faith it would happen.

I believe in creating your Futureboard™ to change your life and live your dreams.

Everyone has a dream! And everyone is destined to fulfill that purpose.

Why wait?
